This
6 day / 5 night tour covers Dehli, Agra and Jaipur
Itinerary
Day 1 : Delhi Arrival
On arrival, you will be met by a representative and transferred to the hotel of
your choice.
Day 2: Delhi
This morning city tour of New & Old Delhi. Tour of Old Delhi, includes, the
Raj Ghat (Mahatma Gandhi's Memorial), the Jama Masjid (The Universal mosque),
the Red Fort and the Chandni Chowk by rickshaw (tricycle). Tour of New Delhi,
includes, the Qutab Minar (A 70 meters high victory tower built about 800 years
ago), the Emperor Humayun's Tomb (This tomb has served as the base model for the
other Mughal Monuments to follow - including the Taj Mahal). We also drive past
the India Gate (Built to pay tribute to the 30,000 Indian soldier, who lost
their lives while fighting for the British during the First World War), the
Houses of the Parliament and the Presidential Palace. Evening, visit
"Dances of India program" or " Light and Sound".
Note: The Red Fort is closed on Mondays
Day 3: Delhi
– Agra (By road - 4 hours drive, including stop at Sikandra)
Morning, drive for 4 hours to Agra. En route stop at Sikandra 10 kms before
Agra, to see the Mausoleum of the Mughal Emperor Akbar. This building has an
excellent Muslim architecture, which is very evidently visible in the
subsequent Mughal buildings, including the Taj Mahal. From here we proceed
to Agra. Check in to the hotel of your choice. Afternoon, visit the Agra
Fort, a standing testimony in red sandstone to the glory of the Great Mughal..
At sunset, visit the famous Taj Mahal - one of the Wonders of the World,
poetry in marble and a symbol of eternal love.
Note: The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays.
Day 4 Agra – Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur ( By road – 5
hours drive, including stop at Fatehpur Sikri )
Morning depart for Agra a 5 hours drive through the vast farmlands of Uttar
Pradesh to Jaipur. En route visit the Fatehpur Sikri - the ghost capital of
the Mughal Emperor Akbar, built entirely of red sandstone and now declared
as a World Heritage Monument. In sharp contrast stands the pristine white
marble monument to Salim Chisti, Akbar's teacher, who granted him his wish
for a son. It is here that wishes come true when you tie a string on the
marble lattice. On arrival in Jaipur, check in to the hotel of your choice.
Afternoon car will be at your disposal.
Day 5: Jaipur
Morning we leave for the fairy tale like Amber Fort, where you ascend the
hill like a Maharaja on the back of an elephant. Afternoon we commence our city
tour of Jaipur, which includes visits to the City Palace of the Jaipur Maharaja.
The honey-comb designed Hawa Mahal also known as the Palace of Wind from where
the royal ladies, who lived in seclusion, observed life on the outside yet
remained hidden inside. Also we visit the amazingly accurate Jantar Mantar stone

Day 6: Jaipur – Delhi (
By road – 4 hours drive )
Delhi Departure
Morning, drive for 4 hours to Delhi. On arrival, our representative will
assist you for transfer to the International airport to board the flight for
onward destination.
